Bayern Munich attacker Kingsley Coman has scored the first goal of the Club World Cup 2025, as the Frenchman guided a header perfectly against Auckland City on Sunday (June 15).
Bayern are up against New Zealand club Auckland City in a Group C encounter of the new-look Club World Cup, and Coman has netted the first goal of the tournament, the first edition, which is being played by 32 clubs.

In the 6th minute of the match, a corner for Bayern was met at the back post by defender Jonathan Tah, whose header back into the box was met by Coman and has found the back of the net. Bayern are overwhelming favourites in this match and are already winning 1-0 after 12 minutes in the first half.
Coman's goal is the first one of the CWC 2025 as the first match between Inter Miami and Egyptian club Al Ahly ended in a goalless draw. Despite the presence of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, the MLS side failed to score against Al Ahly and were lucky to escape with a point.
On this 2nd day of the Club World Cup, three more matches will be played after this as Champions League winners PSG play Atletico Madrid, while FC Porto play Palmeiras. The final match of the day will be between Botafogo and Seattle Sounders.
