Despite the fortunate nature of the winning goal, Conceicao expressed satisfaction with his team's performance, especially in the second half. He aims to build on this promising start. "For our second-half performance, we deserved the final," he told SportMediaset. "In the first half, I saw a Milan with many doubts, like a few weeks ago."

Conceicao noted that during halftime, they discussed what was needed to secure victory. The players responded courageously, transforming their play in the latter half of the match. "We had to understand what we had to do to win, and they were really brave," he added.

Milan will need to replicate this determination against Inter, who defeated Serie A leaders Atalanta 2-0 in their semi-final on Thursday. Conceicao acknowledged that while their second-half display was impressive, there is still work to be done.

The coach highlighted that having one less day of rest compared to Inter is significant. "The second half was completely different, but we haven't done anything yet," Conceicao remarked about their upcoming challenge.
