London, Sep 14(ANI): Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti reckons that Chelsea will have Champions League glory this season, saying that they are ready to claim the only major championship which they have been missing by a whisker for the past six years.
"Chelsea have been in the semi-finals most in the last six years. They haven't won it, but they have come very close. Two years ago, they were one penalty away from winning it. Now the conditions are right for us to try again," The Sun quoted Ancelotti, as saying.
The 50-year-old further shrugged off a failed attempt to sign Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo, and said: "We have players to fulfill that role. We've tried John Obi Mikel, Michael Essien and Deco. Pirlo can't play like Mikel and Mikel can't play like Pirlo." (ANI)
