The 48th edition of South American Football Championship - Copa America 2024 is set for a title showdown as Argentina face Colombia in the final on Sunday (July 14) at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
Julian Alvarez and Lionel Messi fired Argentina into the final following a 2-0 win over Canada in the first semi-final. La Seleccion, who topped their group after a perfect record, needed extra time and penalties to get past the quarter-final round in their only draw so far in the tournament.

Colombia, on the other hand, rode on Jefferson Lerma’s strike to edge past Uruguay in the other semi-final to reach the Copa America 2024 final. La Tricolor topped their group that also included Brazil with one draw and two wins. They, however, hammered Panama 5-0 in the quarter-finals.
