Argentina has progressed to the quarter-finals of the Copa America 2024 after winning all of their group stage matches.
Argentina completed the group stages with a fantastic performance and are yet to concede a goal in the tournament. They emerged as group winners with 9 points in three matches.

Argentina started off their campaign with a 2-0 victory over Canada. Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez scored the goals for them. They won the next matches against Chile (1-0) and Peru (2-0) - with all three goals coming from Lautaro Martinez.
Los Albicelestes are the defending Copa America champions and will be eying to replicate the feat of last time. Lionel Messi and his troops will have the objective in mind to win consecutive Copa America titles, a feat they last did in 1993.
Argentina will play their next Copa America 2024 match on Thursday (July 4) in the quarterfinal stage of the tournament.
Argentina will take on fellow South American nation Ecuador in the quarterfinals, who qualified for the knockouts after finishing 2nd in Group B.
The Argentina vs Ecuador match will be played at the NRG Stadium in Houston. The match will start at 8 pm ET on Thursday.
Lionel Messi is struggling with a groin problem and was left out in Argentina's last match against Peru. The 36-year-old was given a breather for recovery and the Argentine camp is still monitoring his situation.
Although Messi is expected to be fit ahead of the next match, the team is unlikely to rush Messi into action. The talismanic player didn't play against Peru but Los Albicelestes still managed to get a comfortable win, which may be indicative of his role in the upcoming match. If Messi is not 100 per cent fit, the Argentina captain may remain on the bench for the quarter-final clash against Ecuador.
