Argentina face Chile in their second group stage match of this year's Copa America. They struggled a little in their first match against Canada but overcame and won the match by a 2-0 margin. On the other hand, Chile ended their first game against Peru in a goalless draw.

Chile need to win this match to stay in the running, while a win for Argentina will see them qualify for the knockout stages. With both teams determined to get a win, some players for both teams could step up and make or break the game for them.

Lionel Messi (Argentina):

Lionel Messi played a pivotal role against Canada in their opening match. He set up the first goal with a clever through ball to Alexis Mac Allister, who then assisted Alvarez for the opening goal.

Messi also provided the assist for Lautaro Martinez's late goal to seal the victory. Messi's creativity and vision combined with his goal-scoring ability is helpful in both creating and scoring goals to win a match for Las Albicelestes.

Alexis Sanchez (Chile):

Alexis Sanchez, Chile's all-time leading goalscorer, has not been able to score any goals so far in the tournament. However, his amazing goal-scoring ability makes a decisive contribution which makes him a key player for Chile. Sanchez, who struggled with injuries and poor form at Inter Milan, has rediscovered his spark in the national team setup.

Julian Alvarez (Argentina):

Alvarez, who had been goalless in his previous 13 international appearances, broke the deadlock in the 49th minute with a simple finish after Messi's pass against Canada. This was an important contribution from the young striker who has also been thriving at Manchester City. His goal-scoring ability could prove to be extremely important for Argentina.

Eduardo Vargas (Chile):

Vargas, Chile's second all-time top scorer, has also scored twice. His goals at important moments can help Chile overcome Argentina and even progress to the knockout stages. Vargas, who was out of the national team for over two years, has regained his form and is now vying to be the Copa America's all-time top scorer among active players.
