Courtios in no hurry to sign new Chelsea contract

The latest report in London will not be welcomed at the West London club as it says that Courtois has no interest in signing a new Chelsea deal as he wants a move to Real Madrid.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois awaits Real Madrid move

Bengaluru, December 7: One of the biggest concerns for Chelsea fans and the management in recent times has been their star goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois not signing a new deal with the Blues.

The latest report in London will not be welcomed at the West London club as it says that Courtois has no interest in signing a new Chelsea deal as he wants a move to Real Madrid and believes that a new deal, if signed, could prove to be a mistake by him.

The shot-stopper is under contract at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2019 and Chelsea will have a real dilemma at the end of the season.

If they do not sell the Belgian, they will have to lose him for free in another year whereas hey could get a huge money if they decide to sell the former Atletico Madrid keeper.

Mundo Deportivo via TMW claims Courtois will soon be leaving Chelsea amid interest from Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane is on the hunt for a new goalie, and the Belgium international fits the bill perfectly.

Blues boss Antonio Conte is desperate to keep Courtois in London and has urged the English champs to break the bank for the “world’s best” keeper but it is understood the Courtois’ motivation is not just money.

With the 25-year-old looking to move on, Chelsea have to start their search for a replacement and they have already jotted down a few names.

The first name on the shortlist is Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak while the Blues also hold an interest in Stoke City keeper Jack Butland.

Meanwhile, reports also claim Chelsea will battle their London rivals Arsenal for Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto.

The left-sided playmaker scored twice in 13 minutes against Crotone at the weekend and has impressed on a weekly basis and could be on his move to the Premier League.
