Liverpool's Coutinho inches closer to Barcelona deal

London, August 8: The much-awaited move of Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho to Catalan giants Barcelona is almost a done deal according to both British and Spanish media reports.
Barcelona have reportedly sent a delegation to England in a bid to sign Coutinho.
According to Spanish sports paper Mundo Deportivo, a delegation from Barcelona has left the city and headed to England to try and finalise the transfer which according to them is 'just a few hours away'.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp was desperate to keep hold of the Brazilian, but knows he could be facing a losing battle.
But former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher says his old club may not sell Coutinho for now, but face a battle in keeping him away from Barca further down the line.
"I don't think he will go. But he will want to go and wear that shirt," he told Sky Sports. "Who wouldn't want to go? It's Barcelona.
"I'm sure whether it's this summer or next summer Philippe Coutinho will want to wear that shirt and go to Barcelona. There's nothing wrong with it. That's football."
