Bengaluru, November 25: Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho heaped praise on his teammate Mohamed Salah insisting that they have a beautiful understanding in the field which has been the main factor behind his explosive start to their Liverpool career.

The Egyptian attacker has already set the stage on fire at Anfield after an incredible start to his second spell in the Premier League. The 25-year-old came to Merseyside with a goal scoring reputation and till now has delivered the same with nine goals and two assists in 12 league appearances.

But earlier in his first spell at England, he failed to make an impact when he arrived at Chelsea under Jose Mourinho in 2014. The winger played mostly as a backup at Stamford Bridge and later was transferred to two loan spells at Italy, one with Fiorentina and one with Roma in the next two seasons. In both the cases, the winger found his rhythm again and scored 35 goals in Serie A in three years.

And now while talking about the new addition to the team, another Liverpool star, Coutinho has now spoken highly of his admiration for his teammate and described what he sees as the reason for Mo Salah’s stunning start to the Premier League season.

Both the players have not featured many times together till now because of the Brazilian's injury however in their last two matches against Southampton and Sevilla, they seemed to have already formed an understanding in Liverpool’s attacking success. The pair combined beautifully against Southampton last week, with Coutinho's pass setting up Salah's second goal in the Reds' 3-0 win and Coutinho's link up with Salah, in particular, looks exciting. And while talking about such situations, Coutinho suggested the reason behind of having a great bond so quickly on the field, is because of Salah's quick movement and pace, which is helping the playmaker to create chances for him.

"It's his movement," he said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo. "He's a very quick player and he's always trying to move so that he can get into empty space, and that makes it easier for whoever has the ball, I always say that.

"I hope to be able to make the best of my chance to play with him and to be able to help the team."

"He's a great player," Coutinho added, "Everyone - us and the fans - have been really impressed with the way he's settled in here, the way he's adapted to the team in a new country."

Liverpool are currently at the fifth spot on the Premier League table with 22 points, 12 behind league leaders Manchester City and they will play their next game against Salah's former side Chelsea, who are third on the table.
