Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr may sign these players in January after Portuguese star makes appeal

As the winter transfer window kicks into gear, football clubs worldwide are gearing up to reinforce their squads for the second phase of the 2023–24 season.

This season's January transfer spotlight is once again shining brightly on the Saudi Pro League. The Middle-East League gained huge popularity after superstar Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Al Nassr in January last year after leaving Manchester United.

The move drew a lot of attention and criticism. However, what followed was a meteoric rise in the Saudi Pro League's popularity and a bunch of European superstars following the same path.

A massive summer transfer window saw almost £700 million transfer fee being spent on the likes of Neymar, Karim Benzema, Riyad Mahrez, Jordan Henderson, and Sadio Mane, among others.

With the January window starting to take shape a lot of new transfers could befall as well. The probability has improved further after Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo again appealed to all the great players in Europe's top divisions to join him in the Saudi Pro League.

Who are the players Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr could sign in January?

Going by the current speculation, Ronaldo's side reportedly are looking to make a couple of new additions in January.

The top of the priority list is reportedly Hakim Ziyech. The Morocco international is currently on loan at Galatasaray. However, he somehow has lost his place in the side. The player is looking for a switch and Al Nassr are looking to take advantage.

Two Manchester United stars- Casemiro and Jadon Sancho are also said to be on the wishlist of the Saudi side. Former teammates of Ronaldo, both the players have faced a struggle in recent times.

Jadon Sancho has been banished from first-team football following a stir with manager Erik Ten Hag while Casemiro has struggled for form and apparently could be sold. It now remains to be seen which direction Ronaldo's side takes in January.
