Al Nassr are looking to make a big move for one of their prime targets in the summer transfer window next season.
Cristiano Ronaldo's club in Saudi Arabia is planning to activate the release clause of Real Sociedad midfielder Takefusa Kubo, who is deemed to be the main player they are aiming ahead of next season.

Kubo, who is currently in Qatar for the AFC Asian Cup with Japan, has been a top player for Real Sociedad since leaving Real Madrid in 2022. The young Japanese has scored 15 goals in 69 matches for them and has been a top servant at the club.
Kubo's versatility is being tipped as one of the main reasons why Al Nassr want him. The youngster plays in the right wing, but is equally good as a striker or as an attacking midfielder.
Al Nassr will have to pay €60 million release clause to get Kubo, and are said to be comfortable in doing so.
Real Madrid brought in the 22-year-old but things didn't work out for him at Santiago Bernabeu. But Kubo's recent upsurge with Real Sociedad has alerted more suitors across Europe as well.
Manchester United sent their scouts to track the Japanese ahead of the winter window and the Red Devils are said to be keeping tabs on him. Kubo has a contract at the Basque club till 2027, but is open to move if a suitable offer arrives.
There are also questions about whether the Japan international will make a move to the Middle East so early in his career. Reports have stated that Kubo is happy in Spain and is keen to continue playing his Europe, which gives Manchester United a chance to swoop in.
For now, the speculation is not strong as Kubo is expected to finish the season at Real Sociedad. He has scored six goals and has three assists to his name in La Liga this season, and will be hoping to play a key part for Sociedad, who sit sixth in the table.
