Cristiano Ronaldo can lead Real Madrid to third consecutive Champions League: Carlo Ancelotti

Madrid, Feb 2: Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti believes struggling Cristiano Ronaldo's complete winning mentality can lead the Los Blancos to a third consecutive Champions League title and if they somehow beat high-flying Paris Saint-German in the next round, they will be a force to be reckoned with.

After having a successful last year where Zidane and Co. won La Liga and Champions League double, they fighting to maintain the same aura and already been out of Domestic competition Copa Del Ray and are 19 points behind leaders Barcelona, which has all but ended their hope of regaining the league title.

In this moment, the only possible trophy they can look up to is Champions League and as per Ancelotti, the players will now provide their full dedication to the European trophy who won their last match against third positioned Valencia 4-1.

"[Real Madrid] reacted well against Valencia," Ancelotti told Corriere dello Sport.

"I don't think they are in crisis.

"The only competition that Real Madrid can now win is the Champions League, so they will focus on that.

"We must be aware of what [Zinedine] Zidane does in the Champions League.

"If they beat Emery [and PSG], it will be difficult to stop them because they have a player in their squad who never wants to lose: Cristiano Ronaldo."

However, the Italian boss who also previously managed Paris Sanit German claimed that the tie against PSG will not be easy as the French giants also are a major contender for winning the trophy.
