Cristiano Ronaldo set to reunite with former teammate as Al Nassr eye Manchester United midfielder

Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo may get a reunion with his former Real Madrid and Manchester United teammate Casemiro as the Saudi Club is poised to bring the Brazilian at the club.

Casemiro has been linked with a move to Saudi clubs and may leave Old Trafford in January, according to various reports.

Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo

Despite a superb start with the Red Devils, the Brazilian has been struggling with issues this season. He has been out of the side with an injury and was red-carded twice this season.

Casemiro received a three-match ban after he placed his hands around the neck of Crystal Palace midfielder Will Hughes, leading to his dismissal three weeks earlier. Upon his return, he was shown a straight red card for a tackle on Southampton's Carlos Alcaraz, resulting in a four-game suspension.

Moreover, the performance levels of the Brazilian player have significantly dropped this season, coinciding with Manchester United's decline. The team has already suffered 12 defeats across all competitions, and their poor performance.

Amid this, the Premier League club is ready to offload Casemiro and the Brazilian may join one of his suitors in January.

Al Nassr are in talks with Casemiro's representatives and wants to bring him at the club. The former Real Madrid player can be a massive recruitment for the club, who are currently sitting 2nd in the Saudi league table.

But Al Nassr will have to fend off interests from their rivals Al Hilal as the league leaders of the Saudi Pro League are also said to be keeping tabs on Casemiro. But MyKhel understands a move to Al Nassr will be a much preferred one for the Brazilian due to Cristiano Ronaldo's presence.
