The Euro 2024 is around the corner, just a fortnight away as 24 teams in Europe will fight for continental glory.
A plethora of players will be in action for their countries, but none bigger than Cristiano Ronaldo, who will lead the Portugal side probably for the final time in Euros.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently 39 years old. He has been a phenomenal servant for Portugal, having won the Euros in 2016, the Portugal captain will be hoping for a double in this edition. The Portuguese star has a lot of Euro records to his name, but here are a few he may break in the Euro 2024 in Germany.
Oldest Euro scorer: The current record is held by Ivica Vastic of Austria, who scored at 38 years and 257 days in 2008. If Ronaldo finds the net, he will hold the record.
Oldest scorer in a final: Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci scored at 34 years and 71 days in 2020. Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal will have to be at their best to make this record possible.
Oldest outfield player to feature at Euro: Lothar Matthaus of Germany played at 39 years and 91 days in 2000. As Cristiano Ronaldo takes the field, he will be around 39 years 132 days at least, thus breaking the record.

Oldest player to feature in a Euro final: Jens Lehmann, the German goalkeeper played at 38 years and 232 days in 2008. Ronaldo can achieve this as well.
Oldest player to win Euro: Arnold Muhren was 37 years and 23 days old when he won in 1988. If Portugal wins the title, Ronaldo will have the record to his name.
Ronaldo's potential to break these records will be a key talking point leading up to the tournament. The veteran has been in tremendous form for Al Nassr, and the onus will be to replicate that in national colours.
