Cristiano Ronaldo has given a huge update on his Portugal future after the Euro 2024 Round of 16 match against Slovenia on Monday (July 1).
Ronaldo was lackluster as Slovenia held on Portugal for a goalless draw in the 120 minutes. He also had a penalty saved by Jan Oblak in the extra time, which took the match to penalties.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was in tears at the extra-time interval, later saying he hit "rock bottom" at that moment.
However, he managed to showcase his class in the tie breaker by converting the spot kick. The real hero was Portugal's custodian Diogo Costa, who saved all three spot kicks from the Slovenia players.
This has been Ronaldo's longest goalless streak in a major competition and the veteran player has been struggling in the tournament.
Ronaldo turned 39 in February and many have questioned whether this will be his swansong in the continental competition. And addressing the question, Ronaldo confirmed that this will be the final participation for him in the Euros.
"Without a doubt, it's the last Euros, of course it is," Ronaldo said to RTP after the match.
"I'm not emotional about that. I'm moved by everything that football entails, by the enthusiasm I have for the game, the enthusiasm I see in the fans, having my family here, people's passion," he added.
The 39-year-old also stressed that he has nothing more to win in football and he won't have any sadness when he hangs his boots.
"It's not about leaving the world of football. What else is there for me to do or win?" he concluded.
Portugal advanced to the quarterfinals after prevailing over Slovenia and now will take on France in the last 8 of the Euro 2024.
