In the latest Cristiano Ronaldo injury update, the Portuguese footballer was captured on camera training on the eve of the Al Nassr vs Al Taawoun match (Thursday) in Saudi Pro League at the KSU Football Field in Riyadh. The 38-year-old Portugues earlier missed the opening match against Al Ettifaq following a knock on his knee.
Al Nassr shared images from their training session on its official Twitter handle and Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted practicing freekicks and warming up with his teammates as the club plays their first match at home in the Saudi Pro League this season.

Cristiano Ronaldo wasn't even on the bench for the last game as Al Nassr went down 2-1 to Steven Gerrard's Al Ettifaq 2-1 at the Prince Fah Stadium in Dammam. The onus fell on Sadio Mane to take the nine-time League champions home but two quick goals early in the second half cancelled out the Senegalese 4th-minute goal.
Several other key players were missing from the game too as coach Luis Castro also rested key foreign names Seko Fofana, Marcelo Brozovic and Alex Telles. However, there were doubts over the availability of Cristiano Ronaldo, who was taken off the field in a cart after he hurt his knees late during the Arab Club Championship Cup final against Al Hilal. There's no official confirmation if Cristiano will start tonight or not.
His injury came right after the Portuguese scored all two goals in Al Nassr's maiden title triumph with the Portuguese since he joined the club earlier this year. The Portuguese footballer, who moved to the Saudi Pro League on a free transfer, has scored 25 goals in 20 games so far.
There are other Saudi Pro League matches on the day as well with Al Akhdoud taking on Al Fateh in a match that starts right while Al Ettifaq face Al Hazm at 8:30 PM IST.
