Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag has given a strict warning to his players, stating that the players will have the same fate as Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho if they fail to exhibit proper attitude.

In a clear message to his team, ten Hag has affirmed that a player's stance and dedication to the club must align with the team's ethos, or they risk being shown the door.

Cristiano Ronaldo's epic fallout with Ten Hag led to his departure in January 2023. The Portugal star openly criticized Ten Hag and said he doesn't respect the Man United boss. And the same thing happened with Jadon Sancho, who expressed his disgruntlement with Ten Hag on social media.

December 2022 saw Manchester United cutting ties with Cristiano Ronaldo following his scathing interview where he condemned ten Hag and the club management. And now Jadon Sancho has left Man United on loan to Borussia Dortmund.

"If you want to perform you need hungry players," ten Hag said. "You need players with personalities who are hungry to fight for the badge and fight for this club. And they need to do this in a team," he added.

Despite the current challenges, including the team's position at ninth in the league and a significant distance from the top four, ten Hag refuses to acknowledge any undue stress. They have 31 points after 20 matches and are ten points off the top four.

He anticipated the possibility of a negative trajectory and remained focused on steering the team back on course. The Red Devils will be taking to the pitch on Sunday as they take on Tottenham in the Premier League.
