Cristiano Ronaldo is known for his elite class on the pitch and the flamboyance off it.
The Portuguese star has always been at the summit of the game and has a gigantic brand value associated with his name. But ahead of the next season, Cristiano Ronaldo will have to deal with a certain setback.

Cristiano Ronaldo's current club Al Nassr has ended their long-term association with sports apparel brand Nike and have signed a new deal with Adidas. The Saudi giants have tied with Adidas for the next three seasons and will be wearing their colours from next season onwards.
This has come as a surprise as Al Nassr used to wear Nike shirts and especially with Cristiano Ronaldo's association with Nike, a shift to Adidas has come as a surprise.
Al Nassr made an announcement of their Adidas deal on social media as the German brand taps into the Saudi market with a massive coup.
"Joining with Adidas is an exciting partnership, the scale and resonance of Al Nassr, adorned with the iconic Adidas three stripes, magnifies the global impact we can achieve. This partnership is a sign of our ambition to make the club a soccer powerhouse, not only in Arabia but internationally," Al Nassr CEO Guido Fienga said.
It is a bold and profitable move for Al Nasir, but for Cristiano Ronaldo, this will be an awkward situation with a long term association with Nike, the Portugal International will have certain awkwardness wearing the Adidas shirt next season. But he has prior experience of donning an Adidas shirt during his Manchester United days prior to joining the Saudi club.
Ronaldo, since joining Al Nassr last year, has been a phenomenon for Al Nassr. He won the Arab Champions Cup with the Saudi team and has already racked up 30 goals this season.
