Ronaldo has been brilliant for Al Nassr, scoring 44 goals for the Saudi club in just 50 appearances. He has been brilliant this season, netting 30 goals already in just 31 matches.
The 38-year-old has taken the Maradona Award beating his rivals across the world. Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe were Ronaldo's closest competitors, but both managed 52 goals in 2023. Manchester City striker Erling Haaland also managed only 50 goals and thus trail further behind Ronaldo.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo's ultimate nemesis Lionel Messi is miles behind him in the goals tally of 2023. The Argentine could only manage 28 goals in 2023 for club and country.
