Cristiano Ronaldo's son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., took a major step in his budding football journey by making his international debut for Portugal's Under-15 side.
The 14-year-old forward featured in Portugal's 4-1 triumph over Japan at the Vlatko Markovic international tournament in Croatia.

Ronaldo Jr. entered the pitch in the 54th minute, with Portugal already holding a commanding 3-0 lead, thanks to a hat-trick from Braga talent Rafael Cabral. Proud father Cristiano Ronaldo marked the occasion with a heartfelt message on social media, congratulating his son and expressing his pride.
Currently part of the Al Nassr youth setup, Ronaldo Jr. has been preparing for this milestone with the support of his family. Though eligible to play for other countries such as the USA and Spain, the teenager has chosen to represent Portugal, aligning with his father's legendary national legacy.
His grandmother, Dolores Aveiro, was recently seen attending training sessions, showing her encouragement ahead of his anticipated debut. Cristiano Ronaldo's mother was seen wearing his son's 2010 FIFA World Cup jersey as she cheered his grandson from the stands. She was seen in an upbeat mood as Ronaldo junior was warming up with his teammates before the match.
The Japan fixture was the first of four matches for Portugal's U15 squad in the tournament. They are set to face Greece next, followed by a clash with England on Friday, before concluding their campaign on Sunday against a yet-to-be-confirmed opponent.
Cristiano Ronaldo also reacted on social media after son's debut with Portugal U15. On Instagram, he wrote, "Congratulations on your @portugal, debut, son. Very proud of you!"
On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo was absent for Al Nassr on Monday and has been linked with a move away from Saudi club. If the Portugal international leaves Al Nassr in the summer, he may end up with one of the other Saudi clubs, with Al Hilal being a compelling option.
