Cristiano Ronaldo's huge pay-cheque at Al-Nassr revealed: How much does he earn per minute?

Cristiano Ronaldo became the highest-paid footballer in the history of the game. Here is a look at his earnings in the Middle East club.

Cristiano Ronaldo made history by joining Saudi Arabian Pro League giants Al-Nassr in January. By joining the Middle East club, the 38-year-old became the highest-paid footballer in the history of the game.

Al-Nassr and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly earns around $400 per minute. Ronaldo's mega contract with the nine-time Saudi Pro League champions will see him pocket an exorbitant figure of $200 million per season.

The former Real Madrid forward's earning per day is estimated to be around $550,000. The Portuguese superstar earns approximately $22,000 per hour. So, he pockets a mega amount while sleeping as well. Cristiano Ronaldo's annual income of €200 million sees him eclipse the earnings of PSG trio Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar comfortably.

Ronaldo's deal with Al-Nassr sees him earn a basic salary of €75 million per season (which becomes €200 million once bonuses, benefits, and image and likeness rights are added) until 2025. He will take home the same amount for another five years until 2030 as an ambassador for Saudi Arabia as they pursue their goal of hosting the 2030 World Cup together with Egypt and Greece.

Cristiano Ronaldo

The Portugal international joined Al-Nassr as a free agent in January after mutually terminating his Manchester United contract following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan. In his interview, Ronaldo slammed the Red Devils. He took a hit at the club's owners, manager Erik ten Hag, former manager Ralf Rangnick and even club legends and his former teammates Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney.

Ronaldo currently resides in the Saudi Arabian capital city of Riyadh and has already started delivering on the pitch for his new club. The football icon has scored eight goals in seven games for the Middle Eastern club, including two hat tricks. He has also registered two assists for the Saudi Pro League leaders so far.

The Portuguese maestro was named the SPL 'Player of the Month' for February for his magnificent displays on the pitch. His impact has also transcended beyond the pitch, as Ronaldo's arrival has seen the SPL's broadcast boom across the globe, including in India.
