Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d'Or winner, highlighted the developmental phase of the Saudi league, predicting it will eventually rank among the top three leagues globally.

Thriving in Al Nassr since joining in January 2023, the 38-year-old striker expressed contentment with the move, recognizing Saudi Arabia's football evolution.

Ronaldo believes that, while the process will be gradual, the Saudi Pro League has the potential to reach elite status. He anticipates that the league's success will instill pride among the Saudi people.

Since his arrival at Al Nassr, Ronaldo has exhibited stellar performance, participating in 50 matches and scoring 44 goals. In the current Saudi Pro League season, he has featured in 18 matches, netting 20 goals and contributing nine assists. This prolific record underscores Ronaldo's impact on his Saudi team.

Prior to his stint in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo briefly returned to Manchester United in 2021, leaving Juventus. However, his second tenure with the English club ended abruptly after a controversial interview with Piers Morgan, where he criticized United coach Erik Ten Hag.

Ronaldo claimed that Ten Hag disrespected him, leading to the termination of his contract with Manchester United. During his second spell at United, Ronaldo played 54 matches and scored 27 goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo's endorsement of the Saudi Pro League reflects his positive experience and belief in its competitiveness. His successful tenure at Al Nassr and optimistic outlook for the league's future showcase Ronaldo's commitment to contributing to the growth and recognition of football in Saudi Arabia.
