Cristiano Ronaldo showcased his class again as the Al Nassr captain scored a winner in their AFC Champions League Elite match on Monday (September 30).
In a pivotal match at Al Awwal Park, Cristiano Ronaldo played a crucial role in securing a victory for Al Nassr against Qatar's Al Rayyan, marking a triumphant entry for new manager Stefano Pioli into the AFC Champions League Elite.

Ronaldo, participating for the first time in the tournament since its rebranding, showcased his renowned skill by scoring a decisive goal in the 76th minute, contributing to Al Nassr's 2-1 win. The match also saw Sadio Mane scoring a goal for the Saudi giants.
The contest was intense, with Ronaldo initially having a goal disallowed due to a marginal offside call earlier in the second half. However, not one to be deterred, the five-time UEFA Champions League winner later found the back of the net with a magnificent left-footed strike, following a pass from Abdulrahman Ghareeb.
The victory means the new Al Nassr coach Stefano Pioli starts his stint with AFC Champions League Elite on a winning note. Ronaldo, who has been excellent for the club so far this season, reacted on social media after helping his team to get the crucial win.
"Hard work pays off. Let's keep going," the Portugal legend wrote on his X profile.
With the victory, Al Nassr currently sit 3rd in the points table with 4 points in two matches. They drew their first match against Al Shorta, in which Cristiano Ronaldo didn't take part due to a viral fever.
Al Nassr's next assignment is an important Saudi league match against Al Orobah. They are currently four points behind leaders Al Hilal.
