Cristiano Ronaldo has put Tehran in crazy mode! Yes, the Portuguese reached Iran on Monday (September 18) to take part in the AFC Champions League match and fans welcomed him in a crazy fashion.
Al Nassr are playing Persepolis FC in the AFC Champions League on Tuesday and Ronaldo is part of the Saudi squad for this continental match. And as the Portugal international reached Tehran on Monday with the team, hundreds of people of all ages flooded the road.

The Saudi club shared a video which showed the Iranian fans completely blocking the road to see a glimpse of their favourite star. The drone view showed hundreds of Ronaldo supporters running behind the Al Nassr team bus as the road from the airport to the team hotel was serenaded by people.
The reception was out of this world. Kids were seen wearing Al Nassr shirts and overpoured with passion for their favorite star, while some were seen throwing flowers as the Al Nassr team bus passed by them.
A visual also showed the fans taking over the hotel where Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr are supposed to stay, as Ronaldo, Ronaldo chants reverberated the entire property.
The Al Nassr captain will be making his debut in the AFC Champions League and is set to be one of the five overseas players for the Saudi Club who take part against Persepolis.
The 38-year-old has been in outstanding form this season. He has already scored 7 league goals and has made 4 assists in just five league appearances so far. The Portuguese was also instrumental in Al Nassr's Arab Club Champions Cup campaign where he scored two goals and the Saudi giants won the tournament, beating Al Hilal in the Final.
