Cristiano Ronaldo has lit the Saudi league with his arrival. The Portugal star inspired many other stars to join the league, who have flocked together to make the Saudi league an enticing prospect for top players.
Ronaldo has been enjoying his life in Riyadh. The global superstar has netted 74 goals for them in his almost two-year stint, firing them to an Arab Club Champions Cup title.

But unfortunately, that's been all. Despite the impending presence of Ronaldo at the helm, Al Nassr have failed to break into the Saudi league title. After Al Ittihad clinching it in Ronaldo's first season, Al Hilal managed to win the title last season with utter dominance.
This season has started in a decent fashion for Al Nassr again as they are in the race for the title. Although Ronaldo's Al Nassr have made strides forward, the club may have to live without the talisman come next summer.
As per reports, Cristiano Ronaldo may not oppose a jaw-dropping move across Riyadh next season. Amid the lack of silverware in Al Nassr, Ronaldo may be handed a chance to win that with Al Hilal, as Al Nassr's fierce rivals are said to be extremely keen in the former Real Madrid marksman.
Al Hilal have been excellent in the last couple of seasons, but amid their terrific signings, the sole exception has been Neymar. The Brazilian has failed to get running with Al Hilal due to injuries and the Saudi club is ready to offload Neymar and bring Ronaldo with the money. Ronaldo himself is desperate to win the Saudi league title and apparently wants to stay at Al Nassr.
But if things go south again for the Knights of Najd, the 39-year-old may give green light for an Al Hilal move, which will cause a massive stir in Saudi football. Many Al Hilal fans are already dreaming for the 'Deal of the Century' and it can be a significant blow for Al Nassr.
