Cristiano Ronaldo wants this Man City star at Al Nassr? What Will Be His New Salary?

The Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly asked his current club Al Nassr to bring in the Manchester City superstar Kevin De Bruyne to his club, as according to him the player will be pivotal for Al Nassr in the future.

De Bruyne’s contract with Manchester City is expiring in 2025, and before the ongoing season, there were rumours about his possible move to the Saudi Pro League club. Till now the Belgian midfielder left his options open.

In recent years, injuries have been a great issue for the 33-year-old Belgian. Last season he featured in 18 EPL fixtures only. This season also, he picked up a thigh injury in the UCL match against AC Milan last month and he is still recovering from that.

Keeping in mind his current age and tendency to get injured in the highly demanding and competitive schedule, a move to the Pro League side could be a good option for the Man City star. Along with that, there will be a significant rise in his salary. As per the reports, he will earn as much as one million dollars per week if he joins Ronaldo.

What De Bruyne Said About His Future At Manchester City?

The Man City playmaker did not deny his possible move to the Saudi Pro League. Rather, earlier, he expressed it as a viable option for the future. Earlier De Bruyne said to HLN, a Belgian publication, “For Michele (De Bruyne’s wife), an exotic adventure is okay. These are also conversations that we are increasingly having as a family. I still have one year left on my contract, so I have to think about what could happen. My eldest is now eight years old and knows nothing but England. He also asks how long I will play for City. Once the moment comes, we will have to deal with it in a certain way.”

He also added, “At my age, you have to be open to everything. You’re talking about incredible amounts of money in what may be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about that. If I play there for two years, I will be able to earn an incredible amount of money. Before that, I had to play football for 15 years. I may not even reach that amount yet. Then you have to think about what that could mean next. But at the moment I haven’t had to think about that yet.”

Currently, he has taken some time off from national duty and will miss the upcoming Nation’s League fixture against Italy and France.

The Belgium manager, Domenico Tedesco, said, “He (Kevin De Bruyne) has asked to skip this camp and also November to be able to take care of his body. The schedule has become even busier due to the World Cup for clubs. That is why he is not there now and in November. But when it counts – the World Cup – he will be there.” Tedesco also said about De Bruyne’s intention to continue with his national team and he is motivated to participate in the next FIFA World Cup in 2026.
