Cristiano Ronaldo earlier expressed his vow to achieve 1000 career goals before his retirement. After reaching the historic 907th goal in the last match, his one small message on social media reminded all his fans, of his commitment to complete his vow.

After the match the Portuguese legend on Instagram shared some moments of the match with a caption, “We never give up!!”, directly indicating his insatiable hunger and passion for the game.

Ronaldo will be back on the ground on Tuesday against Iranian side Esteghlal FC in an AFC Champions League match.
