A pulsating Nations League 2023 final saw Spain beat Croatia 5-4 on penalties to clinch the Nations League 2023 title.
The game was decided from the spot after it remained goalless in 120 minutes of open play. Majer and Bruno Petkovic missed their spot kicks as Unai Simon made two brilliant saves. Dani Carvajal scored his shot to win Spain their first major title in 11 years.

That's all folks from us. Spain have ended their decade-long drought with a stellar result. Croatia's wait for a trophy extended. This is your host Sauradeep Ash bidding adieu for the last time until we meet again. Stay tuned for more action. Ciao!

Spain's miserable luck from the penalties has changed as they secured a historical victory. It was brilliance from Unai Simon who made two terrific saves. Croatia's wait for a major trophy continues.
Dani Carvajal - Scores!! Spain win the Nations League title.
What a Save by Unai Simon to deny Bruno Petkovic.
Aymeric Laporte hits the bar, another twist! We are going to sudden death!!
Ivan Perisic scores to keep Croatia in it.
Marco Asensio - Scores!
Majer misses as Unai Simon saves it on to the post. Advantage Spain.
Mikel Merino - Scores!!!
Luka Modric - Scores!!!
Rodri scores for Spain!
Marcelo Brozovic - Scores
Joselu - Scores!!
Croatia - Nikola Vlasic - Scores
It looks like a mini-fight broke out between a couple of players. The staff got involved fast and the thing is sorted. Both teams in their final hurdle ahead of the penalties.
It has remained as it started even after the completion of 120 minutes. Nothing to separate these two sides and we are heading to penalties, the cruelest way to decide a Final!
Marco Asensio has played well in the match but has been wasteful at crucial times. He had chances which he perhaps should have converted.
A look back at Nacho's brilliant tackle

Dani Olmo got another huge opportunity and this time his shot was deflected wide. Croatia survive again as we remain goalless after 110 minutes.
It is half time of Extra Time and we still don't have a goal in the final. The final 15 minutes of open play await, and if we are still at level terms, penalties!!
Dani Olmo skies his shot. A left-footer that was hit with power but no accuracy as it blazes over the bar.
Spain make their final change of the match. Jesus Navas, who had a decent game at right-back, is replaced as Real Madrid's Dani Carvajal comes on.
Nacho Fernandez receives a yellow for a poor challenge. Lunges on to Petkovic and gets himself in the book.
Croatia fail to take a shot in the early seconds of the 1st half of Extra time.

We are going into further 30 minutes of play as the two teams can't be separated after 90 minutes of football. It has been a pulsating encounter but we are yet to see a goal.
Aymeric Laporte is down and holding his nose. He had a collision with Bruno Petkovic and has come the worst off it. Petkovic given a yellow as well, it was a deliberate foul!
Added Time: 4 minutes
