You may have known crazy transfer stories from the past, which may have had a glaring way of transaction to acquire players from a club. But those bygone days are being reminisced by a certain transfer this season.
Czech Republic's 3rd tier club FK Usti nad Labem have signed a player named Martin Podhajsky. Although it apparently looks a simple deal, there is a hilarious shock behind it.

Martin Podhajsky has joined FK Usti nad Labem, which play in the 3rd tier of Czech football. This club has signed Podhajsky, but the player is not a professional footballer at all.
But Martin Podhajsky's father has donated a hefty amount of €200k, which is around 18 Lakh in Indian Rupees, in order to his son playing 10 minutes of football. The player is supposed to replace FK Usti's captain Jakub Mares in a match and will be up front playing as a striker.
In this bizarre transfer, FK Usti's president Premysl Kuban says they don't mind accepting him playing after his dad's massive donation.
"He has never played football," president Kuban admitted.
"Only FIFA from what I know. However, you don't just see 500k Czech crowns rolling on the floor every day. If someone gives me this type of money, I'll let anyone play. He said himself that he would like to play, then his dad called and things started to move. Martin is a law student and an employee of Viagem," Kuban further added.

FK Usti are currently 6th in their league table after 10 points in the first six games.
FK Usti supporters have also welcomed Podhajsky's arrival at the club. According to a survey, 63 per cent of the fans don' mind Podhajsky playing for them and thinks it is a 'win-win' situation for both parties.
