Beckham played for England 115 times, captaining the team in 59 matches. His club career included stints at Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, LA Galaxy, and Paris Saint-Germain before retiring in 2013.

Since 2005, Beckham has served as an ambassador for Unicef, focusing on children's welfare. He also played a role in securing the 2012 Olympics for London. In 2024, he became an ambassador for The King's Foundation, supporting King Charles' education initiatives. These roles highlight his commitment to community support and youth empowerment.

Beckham Honoured with Knighthood for Charity Work

"Growing up in east London with parents and grandparents who were so patriotic and proud to be British, I never could have imagined I would receive such a truly humbling honour," Beckham expressed. "It will take a little while for the news to sink in, but I'm immensely proud, and it's such an emotional moment for me to share with my family."
