The striker also started his professional career with the Dutch side back in 2007 and has the experience of playing with many top first division clubs the likes of Feyenoord, Excelsior, NAC Breda in the Dutch top division and Perth Glory in the Australian League.

On the other hand, 36-year-old Edu Moya will bring a lot of experience with him after he made the switch from Spanish 3rd division side CP Cacereno. Moya was one the top players in the Bolivian league and has played in La Liga with teams like Mallorca, Celta Vigo and Hercules.

While speaking about the addition of new vital foreign players to the squad, Head Coach of Delhi Dynamos, Miguel Angel Portugal said, "I am delighted to welcome Guyon and Edu Moya to the club. Guyon meanwhile will bring goals to the side. His signing adds further steel to the attacking line-up of Delhi Dynamos.”

Delhi Dynamos Director Rohan Sharma also showed his delight with the arrival of the players and said: “Guyon Fernandez is going to be a crucial part of our attack this season. He was high on our list during the offseason and I'm happy to have him help lead our attack for this season. Edu Moya meanwhile is an extremely versatile and fit player who can play multiple positions. He is someone who Coach Portugal really liked and believes that he can be a good role model for our younger defenders.”
