Delhi thrash Himachal in U-14 Football Festival

Margao (Goa), Mar 3 (UNI) Kislay Sajwan fired a hat-trick as Delhi maintained their all-win record, thrashing Himachal 8-0 in their concluding Group 2 encounter in the AIFF (U-14) Football Festival here today.

Delhi, who led 5-0 at half-time, opened their scoring early in the match through Yudhvir Singh who struck in the fifth and seventh minutes.

Kislay Sajwan grabbed a brace (12th, 15th) while Supriya Debnath added the fifth goal in the 25th minute.

Sajwan (48th) completed his hat-trick after the change of ends, while Ashish (37th) and Srikant (56th) rounded off the tally.

The boys from the capital have collected 114 points overall. They were also awarded two green cards for best disciplined team and officials.

Delhi had beaten Gujarat (7-1), J&K (3-0), Haryana (3-0), Uttarakhand (2-0) and drew with Karnataka (1-1) in their earlier matches.
