Ousmane Dembele showcased his scoring prowess once again, netting a hat-trick to lead Paris Saint-Germain to a 5-2 victory over Brest. This triumph on Saturday extended PSG's unbeaten run and widened their lead over Marseille by 13 points. Goncalo Ramos contributed with two late goals, ensuring the win was secure.
Dembele's remarkable form continued as he scored his second hat-trick in a week, having previously achieved the feat against Stuttgart in the Champions League. His performance against Brest marked him as the first PSG player to score consecutive hat-tricks across all competitions. He has now found the net in five straight Ligue 1 matches, tallying nine goals during this period.

The match began with Dembele opening the scoring just before the 30-minute mark, capitalising on Bradley Barcola's assist. However, Brest quickly responded with Romain Del Castillo equalising five minutes later. Dembele then restored PSG's lead with two quick goals, taking advantage of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's deflected pass for his second and finishing from close range for his third.
PSG remains undefeated in Ligue 1 this season, boasting 15 wins and five draws from their first 20 matches. This achievement marks only the fourth time they have gone unbeaten through the opening 20 games of a season, replicating similar starts in 1985-86, 2015-16, and 2018-19. The defending champions now sit comfortably at the top of the table with 50 points.
Brest attempted to mount a comeback when Ludovic Ajorque scored in the 71st minute, narrowing PSG's lead. However, Ramos' late double dashed any hopes of a comeback for Brest. His two close-range finishes sealed the victory for PSG.
Brest has struggled against PSG in recent encounters, losing their last eight home matches against them in Ligue 1. Despite their efforts on Saturday, they remain eighth in the standings with 28 points.
This week's performances have solidified Dembele’s position as one of PSG’s key players this season. With his current form and goal-scoring ability, he is proving instrumental in maintaining their dominance at the top of Ligue 1.
