The Durand Cup 2023 will be entering its knockout stages from Thursday (August 24). The century-old football tournament has only eight teams remaining who will fight it out for glory in the next ten days for the glory.
From the initial 24 teams, the six group winners have progressed to the knockouts, while the two best 2nd placed teams have also made it to the quarterfinals. East Bengal emerged as Group A winners, while the runners-up Mohun Bagan SG have also qualified for the knockouts.

Mumbai City (Group B), Gokulam Kerala (Group C), FC Goa (Group D), Chennaiyin FC (Group E) and Indian Army (Group F) are the other group stage winners who have made it to the knockouts.
Mumbai City and Chennaiyin are the only teams who have a 100 percent winning record so far in the tournament. NorthEast United are the second runners-up team who have made it to the last 8 of the Durand Cup this year.
The Durand Cup 2023 Quarterfinals will start from Thursday (August 24) and will continue till August 27. There will be one match each from Aug 24 to 27 and the semifinals and the final will be followed later.
East Bengal will take on Gokulam Kerala while Mumbai City FC lock horns against Mohun Bagan SG. Indian Army will be up against NorthEast United while FC Goa meet Chennaiyin FC to complete the quarterfinals fixtures.

The Semifinals will be played on August 29 and August 31, followed by the final on September 3. All of these matches will be played at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata.
