The 2025 Durand Cup, the 134th edition of Asia's oldest football tournament, is set to commence on July 23.

The age-old, prestigious competition will be played across six venues in five Indian states this year, as the top clubs look to showcase their might.

The Durand Cup will take place from July 23 to August 23, 2025 across six venues in five Indian states: West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, Meghalaya, and Manipur.

Kolkata - Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kishore Bharati Krirangan

Kokrajhar - SAI Stadium

Jamshedpur - JRD Tata Sports Complex

Shillong - Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium

Imphal - Khuman Lampak Main Stadium

The 24 teams are split into six groups, including leading Indian Super League (ISL) clubs like Mohun Bagan SG, East Bengal, and defending champions NorthEast United FC, as well as I-League and armed forces teams. Notably, the Malaysian Army and Tribhuvan Army will add the foreign touch in it.

The format includes a group stage, followed by knockouts for six group winners and two best runners-up. The curtain-raiser match is East Bengal vs South United FC in Kolkata, with historic rivalries like Mohun Bagan vs Mohammedan SC set for the group stage.

Group F (Imphal): TRAU FC, NEROCA FC, Indian Navy FT, Real Kashmir FC

The Group A and B matches will be played in Kolkata, while the C, D, E and F matches will be played in Jamshedpur, Kokrajhar, Shillong and Imphal, respectively.
