Barcelona are plotting a move for three Juventus players in the summer, as per reports in Italy.
An Italian football court deducted 15 points from Juventus’ point tally for the 2022-23 Serie A season for alleged wrongdoing in transfer dealings last month.
The Old Lady were in third place in Serie A with 37 points before the penalty but after the points deduction, they slipped to 10th place.
Things have gone further downhill for Massimiliano Allegri's side since then as they currently find themselves in 13th place in Serie A, a whopping 15 points off fourth-placed Lazio. The Turin giants are in danger of losing several of their star players at the end of the season as they look destined to finish outside Champions League spots. Barcelona are one of the many clubs looking to capitalize on the situation as they are thought to be eyeing moves for three Juventus stars.
Here, we will take a look at the three Juventus players Barcelona are monitoring for the summer.
Manuel Locatelli:
Manuel Locatelli is one of the biggest stars at the Juventus Stadium right now and is quite naturally being tipped for a high-profile exit. The 25-year-old joined the Old Lady from Sassuolo in an initial two-year loan, with Juventus holding an obligation to then purchase the player for €25 million. However, the tenacious midfielder is thought to be attracting interest from Barcelona who are looking for a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets.
