London, Dec 9: Just months after joining Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, Dutch star Wesley Sneijder could already be on his way out of the French League after reports have emerged that the 33-year old is edging towards a move to cash-rich Major League Soccer (MLS).
The Dutch playmaker who was once seen as one of the best midfielders in world football during his prime at Inter Milan joined Turkish side Galatasaray after his spells at Italy.
There he spent four years, winning two league titles. However, the attacker decided to end his stint with Turkish side this Summer to join Nice as a free transfer after he bought out his contract.
Nevertheless, he hasn't really got going in France though and has been limited to a bit part in Lucian Favre's squad. Sneijder till now has made only eight appearances, registering one assist for his team and failing to find the net who are loitering at the 13th Place.
And now as per reports, the attacker is not happy with his playing time and association with the club and is looking for a January move from France to the United States, possibly with LA Galaxy and LA FC.
As per reports, Sneijder's agent Guido Albers already has flown to the US couple of times to discuss a possible transfer, however, no concrete name of a particular club been reported yet.
Before this summer's move to Lucian Favre's team, Sneijder was contacted by the MLS side LA FC in the Summer, however, that moment he decided to sign with Nice to maximize his chances of featuring for Holland at the 2018 World Cup.
But now after Netherlands failure to qualify for the World Cup, the midfielder could use the opportunity to earn a big fat wage bill in the United States and join the former club of David Beckham and Steven Gerrard at LA Galaxy or at LA FC which is managed by former United States boss Bobb Bradley and has celebrity owners like actor Will Ferrell.
