East Bengal FC head coach Carles Cuadrat believes the players are giving their all to the team as they let a lead slip away in the defeat at Jamshedpur on Thursday (February 22).
East Bengal FC led through a Nandhakumar Sekar goal on the stroke of half-time but it was Jamshedpur FC who had the last laugh. Rei Tachikawa scored the equalizer and then Jeremy Manzorro scored a 97th-minute free kick to break the East Bengal hearts.

But the East Bengal coach was not so concerned about the loss and said not taking opportunities cost them, and is optimistic about qualifying for the playoffs.
"When you don't increase your lead, anything can happen," Cuadrat said at the post-match press conference.
"We had many clear chances to score the second goal. But the players are giving everything to the team, so I am happy," he added.
Although the defeat has jeopardized East Bengal's playoff hopes, but the Spanish coach is still optimistic about turning things around in the remainder of the season.
"There are still seven games to play. We have played fewer games than other teams so it makes it look like we have a lot to do. We have to be competitive. It's a league where any team can beat any team," he concluded.
