East Bengal head coach Oscar Bruzon is expecting a radical change in team's performance in their upcoming ISL match against Odisha FC on Tuesday (October 22).
After five defeats in five league matches, East Bengal remain rooted at the bottom of the table, which is also their worst start ever in top-flight football.

Former coach Carles Cuadrat was sacked after three defeats, but things haven't improved after that as well. East Bengal lost the Kolkata Derby on Saturday, which was the first match for Oscar Bruzon at the East Bengal helm.
But the Spaniard only arrived 15 hours before the match and didn't even get a chance for a training session with the team. But the players had intensive training on Sunday and Monday, and Bruzon says he expects the team to play a lot differently.
"We are fully confident to try to change our tendency, our last bad plan of results. I hope that from tomorrow, we can find the reaction that we need. But, of course, in one practice, it is very difficult to get the outputs that we need to do in training practice and in one practice," Bruzon said in the pre-match press conference in Kolkata on Monday.
Bruzon also mentioned that his coaching style compared to former coach Carles Cuadrat is 'radically different', and believes the players are responding to his methods.
"I think that the players need to adjust to the ideas of the coach. Of course, the ideas of the former coach and the ideas of the new coach are, I would say, radically different. And I think that the players are slowly understanding what we need," he added.
East Bengal's poor outing in the league compounded with the Derby loss, but just after the Odisha match, the Red and Gold Brigade will be taking part in the AFC Challenge League, and Bruzon says the responsibility of representing India must be taken seriously.
"We have the chance to play more in the international level. So, we have an additional responsibility. And I repeat, it's a very demanding character. In 11 days, we have 4 games. I didn't have enough time with the team. But, I'm going to be hiding all excuses, blame and problems. I'm going to try to talk about solutions as I was already identifying the problems. I hope that the solutions, you can see tomorrow on the pitch," the East Bengal coach further said.
