ISL 2023-24 season is taking place from September 21 onwards with Emami East Bengal entering India's top-tier league with a lot of confidence under new coach Carles Cuadrat, who has brought himself an influx of foreign and Indian players.

East Bengal, who finished among the bottom teams since making their debut in the Indian Super League back in 2020, made a promising start to the 2023-24 season with a runners-up spot finish in the Durand Cup 2023 to arch-rivals Mohun Bagan.

The likes of Javier Siverio, Saul Crespo, Borja Herrera, Jose Pardo among other foreign players have become an integral member of the East Bengal side from the word go while Nandhakumar Sekar, Mandar Rao Desai, Prabhsukhan Gill and Harmanjot Khabra have been among the important Indian acquisitions.

The list of signings will be put to test during the opening fixture against Jamshedpur FC in the comfort of home fans at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, aka Salt Lake Stadium on September 25.

The much-awaited Kolkata Derby is slated on October 28 at the same venue with their arch-rivals Mohun Bagan playing the hosts. East Bengal will play their first away match on October 4 against Bengaluru FC at the Kanteerava Stadium.
