East Bengal will be hoping to take the next step in their Indian Super League journey as the Red and Gold brigade aim for further heights in the upcoming season.

The Kolkata club will kickstart their campaign with an away fixture against Bengaluru FC on September 14, followed by another away trip to Kerala Blasters on September 22. The first home match for the Torch Bearers is on September 27 when they take on FC Goa.

In the first half of the season, Carles Cuadrat's men will play 13 matches - 6 away and 7 of them at home in Kolkata. East Bengal are set to play their home matches at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan this season. In the first part of the season, East Bengal will play Odisha FC and Jamshedpur FC twice, whereas they won't play a single match against Mumbai City.

Kolkata Derby

The Kolkata Derby is set to take place on October 19 this season and East Bengal will be the home team for the first derby in the ISL this season. East Bengal will also take on Mohammedan SC on November 9, which will also be a home fixture for them.

East Bengal finished 9th in the ISL table last season with 24 points in 22 matches, which was their best points tally in the history of the competition. The Red and Gold Brigade missed out on the playoff places by a whisker and will be looking to secure that this term.
