French midfielder Madih Talal gave update on his future in the Indian Super League amid speculation of his move to East Bengal next season. The French football ran riot over his expected future club in New Delhi on Tuesday in an emphatic 4-1 win for his current club Punjab FC.

Madih Talal, who has been a standout performer this season, expressed uncertainty about his future destination, emphasising the need for a break to contemplate his next career move and spend quality time with his family.

"I haven't decided on my future yet," said Madih Talal on JioCinema after the match. "I will go and enjoy the holiday with my family and then take a call on my future.

Several media houses in Kolkata has reported that French midfielder Madih Talal is in talks with East Bengal for a move to the Kolkata Giants for the next season. However, his comments after the match casts a serious doubts over his possible destination next season.

The 26-year-old Frenchman's remarks come at a pivotal juncture, especially considering his instrumental role in Punjab FC's resurgence this season. Despite the club's initial struggles, Talal's exceptional form, highlighted by a league-record-equalling ten assists and significant goal contributions, played a pivotal role in Punjab FC's improved performance, with the team registering six wins in 22 league matches.
