East Bengal will participate in the Next Generation Cup 2024 in England which starts on August 1.
The East Bengal youth team qualified for the prestigious tournament after finishing 2nd in the Reliance Foundation Development League last season.

The team, along with coach Bino George, have already reached London. They visited the Emirates Stadium in London, which is the home of Arsenal Football Club. The team will take part in three matches against the youth teams of three English Premier League clubs. The final and the playoff matches of the tournament will be held on August 4.
The Kolkata giants will play their group stage matches at the Bodymoor Ground of Aston Villa. The final is set to be played at the Loughborough University Stadium. The matches will be 50 minutes in total, split into two halves of 25 minutes each.
Interestingly, East Bengal players can expect decent support in the ground as many of the abroad-living East Bengal fans are set to travel to the midlands to cheer for the colts.

A number of talented youngsters have been added to the East Bengal squad for the upcoming tournament. Shyamal Besra, Ashique Kuruniyan are some of the big names who are going to represent the Red and Gold brigade. Along with them, Sayan Banerjee has also travelled with the team and the East Bengal youngster will be a key part of Bino George's zigsaw.
