Mahitosh Roy, a 25-year-old midfielder, played for East Bengal in the Durand Cup and is seen as someone who can shine in future for the club.
The Kolkata team is already in the process of building the team for the future and these two are being seen as key components. East Bengal's race for the ISL shield is over, while they are still fighting for a playoff spot.
Currently, they are placed 11th in the table with just 18 points in 19 matches, and are 4 points away from playoff spots. Their next match in the league is against Kerala Blasters on Wednesday (April 3).
