Sourav Sen deservingly collects the man of the match award as the substitute forward scored a late injury time equaliser after Dip Saha put East Bengal at front from a stunning free-kick in the 90th minute!

Full-Time stats
90+10' The referee blows the final whistle after allowing addition two minutes of stoppage time! But East Bengal couldn't spark a winner despite scoring the opening goal as late as 90th minute as Sourav Sen spoils their party. The teams share a point each as EBFC played their second draw in four CFL matches!
90+8' Sourav Sen scores the equaliser for BSSC as goalkeeper Nishad came off the line to clear a ball but failed miserably at it, allowing Sourav to roll the ball into the empty net to level the scoreline! There's no time left for East Bengal to response!
q

90+5' What a performance by Dip Saha as he has been involved in East Bengal attacks throughout the day and was tasked with set-piece work for the day! He handsomely repaid the faith shown in him!
90+1' The match official adds eight minutes of stoppage time. East Bengal will have to hold on long in the closing minutes for all the three points!

90' East Bengal takes the lead! Dip Saha scores a beauty from a direct freekick! What a strike by the winger as he found gap in the BSSC defensive wall!
88' Left-back Naba Kumar Das sees his second yellow card and is given marching orders as both sides are down to 10! East Bengal also have a direct free-kick opportunity in a good position!
86' BSSC players continue with their time-wasting antics as Naba Kumar Das goes down again complaining of cramps as medical staff enter the field!
83' East Bengal are pushing hard for the goal through back-to-back attacks from the right wing by Tanmay, who delivered two good quality crosses but BSSC goalkeeper Tanti was alert to clear it!
80' Shyamal Beshra hit the side net after holding on to the ball for few seconds to get better of his marker to get inside the box and create some space to shoot. The angle was still tight as it was inches wide of the near post!
77' Another good attack turns ineffective as East Bengal players fail to coordinate on the right flank during an attack. Soon after three BSSC players go down on the ground with one also being stretchered off! Time is ticking away for East Bengal
73' The match is halted momentarily as Naba Kumar Das goes down on the ground complaining of cramps. Some sense time wasting as a draw is a good result for BSSC, who are yet to win a match this season and have scored just one goal in four matches so far.

71' Dipendu Dowary skies a ball above the crossbar after he was set up on the far post following a threatening cross by Totan Das from the right wing following an overlapping run!
69' East Bengal attack has been far from convincing despite introducing Shyamal Beshra as the forward. Hopefully fresh legs of Aman CK and Tanmay Das will soon change things for the Kolkata giants.
67' Tanmay Das and Amnan CK join the midfield in place of Souvik Chakraborti and Lijo K.
65' Subhendu Mandi sees a yellow card as he takes down Dipendu Dowary during a duel!
63' Souvik delivers a perfect long pass into the box for Shyamal Beshra, who couldn't get better off BSSC centre-back Asif despite nutmegging the tall defender! East Bengal earn a corner!
60' BSSC coach Debraj Chatterjee makes three changes as Bhawani Jaiswar, Sourav Sen and Dipendu Dowary join the attack!
58' BSS Sporting are not so keen on building the attack from the back like East Bengal as they attempt a long pass from the back everytime they are with the ball unless they have a counter-attacking opportunity to catch East Bengal off guard

55' Shyamal Beshra missed the biggest chance of the match for East Bengal as he was set up inside the box free by Sarthak Golui with a brilliant pass but the young substitute shoot the ball just inches wide off the far post! Big chance missed there as it should have been 1-0!
53' Naba Kumar Das has been shown the yellow card as he takes down Lijo K on the right flank to stop a counter attack!
51' A patch second half so far as none of the team are able to penetrate into the attacking half with quality. East Bengal are currently trying to build momentum in attack through patient passing.
48' The second half so far sees East Bengal pushing as we have seen a cross into the box from left wing and a failed diagonal ball on the right wing as the 39-time champions are looking for that opening goal
46' The second half gets underway as East Bengal straight away takes possession. Last-match goal scorer Shyamal Beshra comes in as a change at the break to replace forward Kush Chhetry

The second half live action is all set to begin soon as BSSC players, also known as Behala Warriors, are out on the field first after the break!

East Bengal expectedly dominated the play with Souvik and Sarthak Golui featuring in the line-up but Tuhin Das's 17th minute red card made things tricky for the side as they now look vulnerable on the counter despite dominating the play! The rain has crippled the Kolkata giants too as the youth side struggle to create chances on the wet outfield

A look at the halftime stats as East Bengal dominated all the aspect of the game despite being a man down but their quality to create chances is not the same with field being all wet due to heavy rain!
East Bengal will aim to go top of the table yet again as they take on a struggling BSS Sporting Club in their fourth Group B match of the Calcutta Football League 2023 at Naihati Bankimanjali Stadium. East Bengal are currently placed third in the group with seven points behind Bhawanipore FC and Calcutta Customs Club (9 points each).
BSS Sporting are down the 11th spot in the 13-club group as the side has just picked a point in three matches. They lost to Wari AC (2-0) and George Telegraph (1-0) before holding West Bengal Police for a 1-1 draw in their last outing on July 20.
East Bengal, on the other hand, recovered from a goalless draw against Rainbow AC in their opening match to 4-2 win over West Bengal Police and then a 2-0 win over Kidderpore SC to put themselves in the run for the top spot in the group stages.
The Bino George-coach East Bengal has fielded its youth team for the Calcutta Football League, which has allowed no foreign players in the tournament this time around. Sarthak Golui and Souvik Chakraborti are among the senior help for the squad while the latter's presence was instrumental in East Bengal's dominant display as the midfielder pulled the string from the midfield.
He was also adjudged man of the match for his performance in the last game while the likes of Aman CK, Kush Chhetry, Bunando Singh, Abhishek Kunjam, Shyamal Beshra, Tuhin Das among others has formed a group of talented youngster eager to play attacking football under the former Gokulam Kerala coach.
