For Hyderabad FC, on the other hand, the ISL semifinalists have put themselves in a stronger position by defeating I-League side Aizawl FC 2-1 in their opening encounter and could very well seal their berth to the semis if Odisha vs Aizawl match earlier in the day ends in a draw.

Joel Chianese and Joao Victor were the goal scorer from the Aizawl game for the winning side, their defence has been the best in the top tier with the likes of Odei Onaindia, Chinglensana Singh, Akash Mishra, Reagan Singh among others guarding it. Midfield has quality presence in Sahil Tavora, Halicharan Narzary, and Joao Victor while Barthlomew Ogbeche and Javier Siverio lead the attack.
