Elsinho (JFC) - The Brazilian defensive midfielder had an excellent match and has been awarded as Player of the Match.
It ends all squares in Kolkata. East Bengal and Jamshedpur FC both get a point. These two strugglers of last season had mostly a similar sort of game, which lacked the cutting edge and quality in front of goal, and in the end, they share the spoils.

Emil Benny was given a Red Card, but then the referee rescinds it and hands him a Yellow. The player was almost into the tunnel but then comes back into the pitch.
Chaos on the pitch. Players of both teams getting involved in a spat again. It involved an initial challenge by Sanan on East Bengal's Saul Crespo.
Ricky tries to squeeze the ball but fails to do so. Then a cross from Tachikawa was towards Haokip but Prabhsukhan does just enough.
Edwin Vanspaul's long throw was towards Saul Crespo, but a Jamshedpur head meets it first and the danger is averted.
Imran Khan had an opportunity to score but was sandwiched by two East Bengal players. A huge claim for penalty but not given. The player is rolling on the pitch in pain and is now being treated by the medical personnel.
Seven minutes are added on at the end of the 2nd half.
Guite Peka comes on for East Bengal. Naorem Mahesh is withdrawn.
A minute to go in this match and both teams have lacked quality up front. East Bengal created numerous chances, but failed to convert any of them in the first half.
Carles Cuadrat is set to bring on 16-year-old Guite Vanlalpeka. Nikhil Barla is OFF for JFC while Ricky comes ON.
Jamshedpur FC are playing so high up. That is a high risk high reward approach from them. They can get exposed by East Bengal, and on the other hand, can counter and hurt East Bengal rapidly as well.
Naorem Mahesh tries to release Nandha, but there is Elsinho who blocks it. Then Edwin tries to slip through Cleiton but his pass is intercepted.
Imran Khan sweeps in a ball from the left-hand side and East Bengal captain Harmanjot Khabra clears it.
A massive opportunity for Semboi Haokip to score for the away side, but the substitute side foots it wide. horrible connection from him and a chance squandered.

Another chance squandered by Siverio. The East Bengal striker had an opportunity to take a volley but he completely misses his kick.
Nandha Kumar crosses in a ball and Elsinho is there again. What a debut it has been for the lanky Brazilian.
Mandar sends in an early cross but fails to find any East Bengal head.
Only 15 minutes remain in this match, and two teams are still deadlocked. East Bengal have made a change - Nishu Kumar OFF and Edwin Sydney Vanspaul is ON.
Rehenesh is down and it looks like a cramp. Pratik Chowdhury is trying to stretch the muscles of his teammate. But the medics are there and Rehenesh will receive a much more professional treatment now.
Pardo and Saul Crespo have made the most number of touches in this match with 60 each. Jamshedpur's Jeremy Manzorro has made 50 touches so far.
Nandha Kumar makes a superb run and then keeps it. The winger then cuts in and lays it off to Saul Crespo, whose rasping shot hits the sidenetting.
Jamshedpur FC have shown a lot more potency in the second half. They have slowly grown into this game. And at the back, Elsinho is having a stellar first match.
Pratik finds Sanan, who switches the ball to Imran. Cross from Imran Khan finds Rei, whose left-footed shot takes a deflection and goes out for a corner.
Naorem Mahesh is at the heart of another East Bengal move. Nishu Kumar crosses it in but Elsinho makes the interception. A shot comes from Pardo from distance up next and it is just wide.
Jeremy Manzorro sends the ball in from the corner but it fails to cause any problems. The home team clears the ball and then Naorem Mahesh is fouled as well.
An adventurous bit of play by Sanan and the away side wins a corner. Imran Malik sends the ball from the corner but well defended by the home side.
Jamshedpur FC have made three substitutions. Pronay Halder, Alen Stevanovic and Daniel Chukwu OFF, while Haokip, Sanan and Rei Tachikawa comes ON.
Both East Bengal and Jamshedpur had a disastrous ISL last season as they finished 9th and 10th respectively. Jamshedpur, who have brought in Scott Cooper for this season, will be hoping to topple the Kolkata club in their own backyard.
