East Bengal vs Mohun Bagan, Durand Cup 2023: Kolkata Police sends special message ahead of Final

East Bengal are up against Mohun Bagan in the Final of Durand Cup 2023 at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata. The two Kolkata giants are locking horns in the championship clash amid massive expectations.

Ahead of the match, Kolkata Police had a special message for the citizens at the stadium.

Road accidents have been a regular incident in and around Kolkata in recent years. Many citizens have been gravely injured or have died due to road accidents, and most of them have been due to two-wheeler accidents. Lack of wearing helmets, breaking traffic rules are the biggest cause of these accidents.

The West Bengal government and Kolkata Police have repeatedly created awareness programmes and exhibitions for the people, and have received decent response. They took the initiative to further send a message in the Durand Final on Sunday.

Before the match, Kolkata Traffic Police guard undertook a bike rally around the stadium with the message of 'Safe Drive' for the people. Many scooters and bikes were on display as the traffic guards and sergeants of Kolkata Police gave a round of the stadium with the awareness message.
