The Kolkata Derby between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan has finally received its confirmed fate.
East Bengal were set to take on Mohun Bagan Super Giant in a crucial ISL match on March 10. But the match apparently got postponed due to security reasons.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee called for a huge political gathering on the same day which meant a sufficient amount of police security couldn't be given, thus jeopardizing the future of the match.
Amid the array of rumours regarding the match, MyKhel can confirm that the high-voltage encounter between the two Kolkata clubs will be taking place on the scheduled day, but the timing of the kickoff has altered.
Sources close to the proceedings told MyKhel that ISL has confirmed the match will be happening on Sunday (March 10), as it was supposed, but the kickoff will be from 8:30 pm IST.
That means there is only a 60-minute delay in the match between the Kolkata giants. The official confirmation letter from the Kolkata Police will be coming soon as East Bengal, the hosts of this match, prepare for the epic clash.
The conundrum regarding this battle of the two Bengal clubs had to be sorted out as both clubs had prior and post commitments. Hence any rescheduling of the date would have been inconvenient for either party.
Date: March 10
Time: 8:30 pm IST
Venue: Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata
The two teams locked horns as early as February in the reverse fixture, which ended in a stalemate. Ajay Chhetri and Cleiton Silva scored the goals for East Bengal, while Armando Sadiku and Dimitri Petratos netted for the Mariners.
