It seems that the conundrum regarding the Kolkata Derby is coming to a conclusion as a date and time has been finalized for the high-voltage ISL clash.
East Bengal were set to take on Mohun Bagan Super Giant in a crucial ISL match on March 10. But the match apparently got postponed due to security reasons.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee called for a huge political gathering on the same day which meant a sufficient amount of police security couldn't be given, thus jeopardizing the future of the match.

There were talks of moving the match to a different date. East Bengal and ISL proposed March 9 or 11, but their opponents Mohun Bagan were not ready to play on the 11th as they have a match two days after that. Talks of moving the derby to Bhubaneswar were also in the mix, but it all seems to have ended as a potential solution has been found.
According to Anandabazar Patrika, the derby will be played on March 10th, on its original date. In terms of the venue, it will be played at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata. But the match timing has been changed as the match will start at 8.15 pm IST, 45 minutes later than the original kickoff time.
East Bengal has already talked with the Sports Ministry of Bengal, but no formal confirmation has arrived yet from either ISL or FSDL, as per reports. Mohun Bagan Super Giant also said of no such formal confirmation from their Kolkata rivals, as Insidesport earlier reported.
